What's going on?

This classic car rally is organized once a year in cooperation with the Altstädter Köln 1922 e.V. and the Köln Narren-Zunft from 1880 e.V. (Cologne Fools Guild from 1880 e.V.). The summer trip is open for teams of all carnival societies and clubs.

In addition to the carnival commit­ment of the par­tici­pants, the pre­requi­site for parti­cipation is an old­timer or young­timer that is 30 years or older. Over the past 14 years, the rally has become increa­singly popular among carni­valists. In 2018, 150 teams from 23 carnival societies applied for 90 star­ting places. The one-day event leads the teams with their valuable vehicles on a dis­tance of approx. 190 km from the heart of Cologne, the old town in the direction of the Ahr valley and ends in the afternoon again at the horse race-course in Cologne Wiedenpech. On the way several special tests demand spirit and skills of the participants.
